11th Annual 'Heroes Welcome' honors sacrifices made by military personnel
St. Louis, October 30, 2007: To celebrate Veterans Day, Hair Saloon For Men, a men's haircutting establishment, will once again provide free haircuts to American War Veterans and active military personnel on Monday, November 12, the day the federal holiday is celebrated. Hair Saloon currently operates 12 stores in the St. Louis area, including two in Illinois (Fairview Heights and its newest store in Edwardsville). All veterans and active military personnel can stop by any location from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for their free haircut. No appointments necessary.
"We've honored veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day every year since we started business in 1997, " said Tom Twellman, President and CEO of the company. "Besides a free haircut, the thousands of area veterans we've served over the years appreciate this annual opportunity to gather and share old war stories and fond memories."
Existing Hair Saloon locations in Missouri include Creve Coeur (2), Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Manchester, Ellisville, South County, O'Fallon, St. Peters, and Wildwood. In Illinois, the Hair Saloon has stores in Fairview Heights and Edwardsville, just minutes from Scott Air Force Base.
