Hair Saloon Continues its Nationwide Expansion Strategy with New Franchise Agreement in Boston

With existing franchise commitments, Hair Saloon is expanding to fifth major market

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 9, 2019 – Hair Saloon has awarded a new multi-unit franchise agreement that will bring the St. Louis brand to the Boston area. The announcement follows a series of growth initiatives for the company over the last 22 months, including the addition of new Hair Saloon locations in St. Louis, as well as the expansion to Houston, Louisville, Kentucky and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with multi-unit franchise agreements. St. Louis residents Brian Curtin and Laurie Luck are returning home to Boston where they expect to open their first Hair Saloon in the spring.

“As a long-time client of Hair Saloon in St. Louis, I love the concept. It’s no surprise that I am one of five franchise owners who simply started as a client,” said Brian Curtin. “I see it as a tremendous opportunity to not only move closer to our families, but also a chance to share the unique Hair Saloon experience in a great city like Boston. The new Hair Saloon location will be at 201 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington. Brian and Laurie’s bold long-term vision is to open more than 15 saloons in the Boston market. The Greater Boston area is ranked tenth-largest in the country and is home to an estimated 4.8 million people. Forbes has also listed the city as one of the top 30 best places for business and careers.

Prior to taking on the Hair Saloon franchise, Brian spent several years helping to lead marketing strategies at Enterprise, headquartered in St. Louis.

Hair Saloon has seen a great deal of growth as they continue to expand into new markets. Four new stores have opened over the last two years, with the most recent addition in November, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
