7th Annual St Baldrick’s fundraising event
WHEN: Sunday April 29th
WHERE: Sky Music Lounge in Ballwin, MO
TIME: 12 PM – 4 PM
This event raises money for life-saving cancer research. Hair Saloon has set the goal for $30k which will put us over $150k total raised over the past seven years.
Childhood cancer research is severely underfunded each year; St. Baldrick\’s is looking to change that by raising funds through head-shaving events worldwide.
Volunteers shave their heads at these events to stand in solidarity with children who typically lose their hair during treatment. While these events are a lot of fun, the real goal is to raise money to fund research that will save kids’ lives.
How to Help:
- Donate at Checkout at Hair Saloon. In return you will get a charm to sign and add to the wall.
- Help recruit “Shavees”- Because kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, \”shavees\” for the St. Baldrick\’s Foundation show their support by shaving their heads voluntarily, and inspiring friends and family to donate money to support childhood cancer research.
- Join us at the event on Sunday April 29th. We have several ways you and your team can volunteer to help at the event.
- Spread the word to friends, family and social media. The event is open to the public and we would love for the event to grow.
