Frequently Asked Questions.

Unlike other concepts, we don’t charge for cancellation, but respectfully request the courtesy of advanced notice. At Hair Saloon for Men we understand that schedule conflicts and last-minute changes are necessary at times. We respectfully ask for 24-hour notice for any cancellation request.
We do not charge for no-shows (do not show for an appointment without notice or cancellation). Ultimately, it remains our guest’s responsibility to keep their appointment times and update us if there are schedule conflicts or changes to your contact information on file. However, if a guest continues to no show appointment times, we retain the right to restrict a client’s ability to book appointments and may request a credit card to hold appointment times.
Your time is valuable, and so is ours. Appointments are like tee times – please arrive early. We understand life happens – unexpected traffic snarls, meetings run late, kids don’t cooperate, so we ask that if you expect to arrive after your scheduled appointment time, please call us in advance and we can provide options to make accommodations or reschedule. Late arrivals will be served subject to availability. We will do everything in our power and do our very best to accommodate.
Walk-in guests are always welcome and will be served subject to availability. Please come in, relax, and enjoy a complimentary beverage. We highly recommend that appointments are made ahead of time. With appointments available to be booked online, we’ve seen an increase in the number of appointments increase during the day. If you choose to walk-in, we will do our best to accommodate you, and provide an estimated wait time based on arrivals of other guests with appointments.

Please note that our specials and promotions cannot be combined. Each offer stands independently and cannot be used concurrently with other promotions. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you.

Group appointment services are offered and required for groups of 6 or more. Shop rental may be available for private parties. For group availability, a two-week notice and a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve group services and shop rentals. No appointment changes can be made after the deposit has been paid. At Hair Saloon for Men we are committed to excellence and the satisfaction of our clients without exception. If a service is performed and you feel unsatisfied with your experience, we will invite you back to the shop to redo or correct the service to ensure your satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with a grooming product you purchased, we will ask you to bring the product back to the original location of purchase and we will be happy to review options with you. Due to factors out of our control when a grooming product leaves our shop, returns after 30 days from purchase will not be accepted.

As a general guideline, children of all ages are welcome at Hair Saloon. We may ask a parent to sit in the chair with their to provide a great experience for all.

Hair Saloons are different than facilities designed specifically for children or other clip joints because there are PHDs and barbers performing face and neck shaves on clients. For the child’s safety and comfort, and the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children be able to sit still for several minutes at a time and not attempt to get out of the chair.

When a child is ready for the barbershop, Hair Saloon PHDs and barbers provide the same service on the ‘little guys’ as we do the ‘big guys,’ including offering hair washouts, hot towels, etc. so our pricing reflects this. In addition, we will not shave or use a straight razor on any child under 18 years old without the explicit permission of a parent or guardian. This would relate to a straight razor neck shave or a face or head straight razor shave.

Phone Number: Since phone numbers are more unique than client names, we use phone numbers to create or find client files in our appointment software. This helps avoid one client having multiple files in our system and allows us to text appointment reminders for those clients who prefer text over email.

Email Address: Hair Saloon asks for an email address as another option to receive appointment reminders. We may also periodically send special offers and opportunities to review PHDs and barbers and Saloons. Clients may unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

You may purchase a Hair Saloon gift card in one shop and redeem the gift card at any other Hair Saloon location. They never expire and are available in the dollar amount that you choose. If a gift card is lost or stolen, no worries. We keep your information and gift card amount on file. Be sure to notify the Saloon you plan to visit beforehand to ensure there aren’t any issues.

Services are charged as reserved and include all components of the service. We do not offer a discounted price if a client chooses to opt-out of a portion of their service. (Ex. Shampoo, or massage, etc.)

Your time is valuable. We make every attempt to stay on schedule, but sometimes circumstances keep our PHDs and barbers from beginning their next appointment on time. If your PHD or barber is finishing with a client into your scheduled appointment time, our team will let you know how much time to expect for the delayed start. We’ll make every attempt not to let that delay affect your service or appointment end time and get you on your way.

If your PHD or barber is running behind for your appointment and another PHD/barber is available, you’ll have the option to see the other for your service.
