This year we’re celebrating our 25th Anniversary by telling the stories of the people who make Hair Saloon the great place it is. Today, we’re telling Hannah’s story.
Hannah has been working at the Big Bend and Dougherty Ferry Hair Saloon location for the past 9 months. She was working behind the register at a national retail store, when she had a chance meeting with a customer, Kayla, who was purchasing clippers. The two made small talk, and Hannah learned that Kayla’s Hair Saloon location was looking to fill a receptionist position. She came in to pick up an application, and was interviewed and hired the very next day. Through the training process she fell in love with the job and decided to start cosmetology school this summer. She’ll be taking the next step in her career as a PhD when she completes her schooling.
“I am very thankful Kayla crossed my path the day that she did,” Hannah said. “I have found a second family at Hair Saloon.”
We’re also very thankful for Hannah and Kayla’s chance meeting. She is a great and valued member of her team and we’re committed to supporting her as she grows her career going forward.
