This year we’re celebrating our 25th Anniversary by telling the stories of the people who make Hair Saloon the great place it is. Today, we’re telling Susan’s story.
Susan joined the Hair Saloon team at our Wildwood location in 2019. She’d been contacted by the store manager who’d seen some posts of her fade skills on social media. She was happy where she was working, so she politely declined. But gave us the name of her friend Michelle, a barber she thought might be interested.
“After Michelle’s interview, she called me immediately and told me I needed to meet with the manager to learn more about all Hair Saloon could offer me that my current employer wasn’t,” Susan said.
After that meeting, Susan had a difficult decision to make. When she told her employer she was considering making a move, she was asked to make a choice on the spot. She chose to join the Hair Saloon team and hasn’t looked back! She’s worked her way up and become a manager this year at our Creve Coeur location. She’s a great leader, and works hard every day to deliver an exceptional client experience.
